Marcia Guderian is a West Coast artist, singer and songwriter. Here are some past reviews of her music.
"You can't listen to Marcia's songs without getting to know and appreciate her as sweet, sincere and totally honest . Her jazzy bluesy tunes reflect and resonate the emotions and moods of human experience. She weaves a tapestry of experiences, sometimes imagined, sometimes real, into each song....Although Marcia's songs are laced with blues,...her style is upbeat and optimistic with catchy rhythms and genuine warm laughter"
Beth Marsau, Northwest Events and Lifestyle Review
"Marcia approaches her subject matter with a tongue-in-cheek folksy swing. Under the surface of her lilting alto is a blunt, wise approach to a world expanding in too many directions at once. She calls a pig a pig but in such a way that you have to laugh.... Many of her themes speak about environmental conciousness, commercial lies and living in this modern society."
Dan Thompson, Seattle Sentinel
"...thoroughly delightful, imaginative and ear-catching, with the fresh feeling of a creative, sometimes off-beat perspective on life and the world, .....Great songs with meaning and charm."

"It's About ... Time" is the 4th CD Marcia has released on her own label - Entendre. Like its predecessors, this album contains all original music in a variety of styles.
Beginning the album is City Blues, a soft-rock tune, followed by the lovely melodic - For A While, which features and is dedicated to the memory of violinist, Guy Mulford,
Me And The Blues is a cool blues in A major that shifts to minor for the chorus; View From The Middle is a bluesy swing and Mr Benefactor is more of an uptempo swing; You Ain't Got Room To Talk is uptempo R&B; There's some political commentary pieces - The Devil Owns The Oil and Contradiction, that defy description, and some folk - Gentle and Bright, and folk-jazz/pop - Time Such A Time, and more. Each song on the CD is unique and yet easy to relate to.
Through-out much of Guderian's work there is an undercurrent of whimsical humor that sometimes surfaces and draws your attention at the right moments. Marcia knows how to make her point, but with a spoonful of humor to soften the blow.
This album also includes Guest Artist Tracks from a number of other talented Pacific Northwest performers: Gary Breitenbucher, Johnny Brewer , Fat James Grosvenor, Frank Jackson, David Jennings, Lonnie Knechtel, Guy Mulford, Ranger Kidwell Ross, and Neil Sorenson. The liner notes inside the CD booklet credit the individual tracks to the performers.
Marcia is also the graphic artist who designed the CD packaging. In addition to the provocative, NW theme, cover and booklet art, a creatively entertaining lyric sheet is included.
