Being a Houston native did not stop her from reaching out far and wide.

Her music and popularity became a magnetic field that seems to grow and grow collecting new adoring fans every day. Kristine’s music could be categorized as jazz/blues/contemporary with an occasional injection of R & B and a hint of country, but it is hard to pinpoint a specific style for this amazing artist. She is quite versatile and has literally created her own style of music. Her music is very personal. Each song grabs a bit of her heart and of her fans. Whether a tender moment or more dramatic, she has the innate ability to transform and transcend those images and emotions into the most glorious and brilliant music anyone has heard in a long, long time. Musicians that collaborate with her are honored to have worked with such a talented artist and find the experience exhilarating. With the released of her latest “asYETuntitled”, Kristine Mills has certainly taken her life history, analogies and perspective in life to the recording studio. Writing music is personal to her. It brings such gratification and peace that her audiences from every corner of this planet can enjoy and experience with her. “asYETuntitled” has spawned some great songs, three of which are highlighted today.

“All the Love in the World” (music: Kristine Mills words: Brian Spack - edited for lyrical content: Kristine Mills) – Brian wrote a poem as a wedding gift to a couple close to him. He requested that Kristine put music to his words. Initially it was a perplexing task for Kristine, but the culmination was an extraordinary experience for both. This song is upbeat. The musical arrangement is light hearted and joyful making you want to smile every time you listen to it. “asYETuntitled” (music and lyrics: Kristine Mills) - This song was written about how relationships come and go in life. Friends getting divorced, friends getting married, starting over again, and then wondering if the next person he/she meets is the one that will make life brand new. This single has a pop/contemporary spin on it with a little sprinkle of country. It’s a grand flavor when you are able to create a perfect recipe of genres to fit the storyline and mood of the song. The melody is perfection, again light heart with soft-spoken vocals. “Winter’s Chill” (Music and lyrics: Kristine Mills) – This song is about the ‘what if’s’ in relationships; “what if we would have stayed together?”

This single allows your mind to wonder into a place of thought, putting life’s experiences into perspective into a place of understanding. It is perfectly aligned in both vocals and melody giving audiences an ultimate experience. These songs are part of who Kristine Mills is today. This is her story created as episodes in a wondrous series called ‘her life’. It is all brought to audiences by some of the greatest musical arrangements of today. Whether told in a jazz format, or pop/contemporary format, the stories are delivered with eloquence and sophistication.
